In the these times of globalisation and mass marketing it’s great to see that there are pub operators out there willing to support the small local breweries. These pubs or bars are keen to put a range of beers on tap that highlight the real diversity of beer and showcase some of the great local brews that are being produced by the many craft breweries around the country. We have our beer on tap in a number of these great pubs and bars, such as the Grand Central, the Pig & Whistle and the QA in Brisbane, the Pink Poodle on the Gold Coast, The Local Taphouse in Sydney and The Royston in Melbourne just to name a few. There are many more, and you can check out the where to get it page to find them … Here’s cheers to these great watering holes …!

I was over from New Zealand a couple of weeks back, and I have to say, the Stone and Wood Draught on tap at the Platform Bar at the Grand Central, Brisbane just took my breath away. I’m also a keen homebrewer, and until we get it distributed over here in kiwiland (hint hint) I’m just going to have to try to clone it myself. Galaxy hops… mmmm…
Thanks for a stunning beer.
Nice!
Any bar, pub or club that has half a clue about beer and puts a quality drop like Stone & Wood on tap or in the fridge is fine by me! Thankfully they seem to becoming more and more common…
Thanks …. we’re working on it! Cheers
Cheers !
NZ is a long way from Byron Bay, even if it is the most Easterly point of Aus! We had a keg at BrewNZ a couple of months ago … one day we might find a way … need some one way kegs to make it work…
