Here come the fermenters! The brewhouse for our new spiritual home is starting to come together. Last Friday, we relocated 6 of the 100HL fermenters from our Murwillumbah Brewery to our site on Ewingsdale Rd in Byron. Here’s a little look at the tanks being moved through time lapse.
We’re relocating our spiritual home from Boronia Place which is situated just around the corner. The purpose-built brewery and office space designed by Harley Graham Architects is to provide a higher quality experience.
We will not be increasing production at our new site…For us, it’s about being able to bring everything back under one roof – brewing, tasting room and office spaces.
For the project, we’ve made a conscious choice to work with as many local suppliers as possible. Our builder AGS Commercial is a family owned company based in Lismore who will be bringing local architect Harley Graham’s designs to life, whilst Andy Ceglinski from Wooden Anchor is looking after sourcing reclaimed and sustainable timber for the build including Camphor laurel.
We’re pumped to continue investing in our local community, and look forward to sharing more exciting news about the project as development progresses. Stay tuned!
