Sticky Nectar and Tequila Queen, two players in the craft beer game, are back to thrill and delight fans once more after taking out the Counter Culture All Stars MVBs.
Thousands of your votes lead to a neck-and-neck finish between these two titans of Counter Culture who are now gearing up for another round in the cans.
Hazy IPA, Sticky Nectar, made its debut almost two years ago, but time away from the game clearly hasn’t dulled the memory of its fruity glory. Bursting with hops and truckloads of mango, Sticky barnstormed the finish line, with only the Queen in close competition.
In her first season out, Oak Aged Margarita Sour, Tequila Queen, was such a deadly delight she had legions of drinkers heading for the sin bin just to knock one back. The Citrus Steamroller ploughed through her competitors to clinch the All Stars title, the Queen has once again claimed her crown.
Ready for their victory lap, Sticky and the Queen are heading back into the field at the end of the month, ready to dominate taps and beer fridges across the country for a very limited season.
Special mentions for the rest of the comp must go to Counter Culture original, Killer Kween, who put in an amazing effort despite being the oldest in the field and Reinvigam8 who never really got off the bench, but thanks for showing up anyway mate.
Sign up to our Beer Club and receive it first before the rest of the country.
Sticky Nectar and Tequila Queen will be on tour at venues and bottle shops across the country from Monday 24 May. Stay tuned to find out where.
