Lunch, entertainment and beers (of course)…sorted
We’re having a Sunday Arvo Sesh to celebrate the launch of our limited release Forefathers, a brew that pays tribute to influential pioneers of the Aussie beer industry.
Food truck Little Back will be pulling up and for $15 per person feast on a slow cooked lunch and have a beer on us. Local musos Josh Swan and Kyle Lionhart will be playing soulful acoustics in the beer garden and the event’s family friendly with table tennis and kids meals to keep the youngsters happy.
This year’s limited release raises a glass to Phil Sexton, a trail blazer instrumental in leading Australia into a beer revolution. From his year’s spent abroad Phil loves English Brown ale, so we flew his son and himself to Byron in July to experiment brewing one. Combining the finest Maris Otter pale English malt and noble English hops this brew has a dry nutty backbone, a generous but refined bitterness and hop character that hints of cinnamon, spice and blackcurrant… On tap all day at the Forefathers event!
Additional beers are $5 all arvo (12pm-5pm) and profits raised are going to The Uncle Project, a unique initiative that provides male mentors for boys without active fathers a support for single parents throughout the Northern Rivers.
Let us worry about the food, tunes and more importantly the beer on Father’s Day and join us to launch the Forefather’s English Brown Ale.
