The annual Noosa Food & Wine Festival kicks off this Thursday 16 May and cruises through the whole weekend with gourmet food, live music, cooking demonstrations, wine and beer. Spent with family and friends just minutes from the beach, the Festival captures the simple pleasures in life – just like our Green Coast Lager.
Proudly a principle partner of Noosa Food & Wine Festival this year, we look forward to catching you at these bespoke foodie events across town, as well as our main bar inside the Festival Village.
Thursday 16 May
This trail starts with a delicious home-made morning tea and tour of Hinterland Feijoas and North Arm Farm, followed by a local meat or seafood three-course lunch prepared by ex-Noma and Wasabi chef Nick Blake, featuring wild edibles and coupled with Green Coast Lager. Afterwards, enjoy a walk through Kin Kin State School’s permaculture garden and a plantation tour at Noosa Black Coffee.
Gourmet food and gold clubs unite for the annual Noosa Springs Fold & Spa Resort event, Course on Course. Here, attendees will head around the green tasting different signature food and drinks at the different holes, including our Green Coast Lager. No handicaps required!
Friday 17 May
Join Noosa Boathouse and chef Shane Bailey as they collaborate with Ben O’Donoghue and Nick Holloway for a Land & Sea inspired lunch, highlighting quality Queensland beef as well as locally caught seafood. Our Green Coast Lager will make for the perfect accompaniment for the spread.
Pitchfork Restaurant and Queensland pork producers Schultz Family Farm is serving up a three-course lunch with nibbles, a suckling pig, wine and our Green Coast Lager.
Join local favourite Noosa Waterfront Restaurant for the Festival Opening Party, with two hours of fresh local seafood, signature canapés, a grazing table filled to the brim with cheese and salumi and plenty of Green Coast Lager on offer.
Welcome the 2019 Festival alongside industry crew at Village Bicycle for a night of live music and Green Coast Lager, our second Counter Culture beer Sticky Nectar, Pacific Ale and Brookies Gin.
Saturday 18 May
Starting at 10.30am on-board the Catalina’s upper deck VIP lounge, our beers will accompany roaming canapés and a modern Asian lunch featuring local produce on the Noosa River, backdropped by live music and an ever-changing riverside scenery.
Long Lunch on Hastings Street BALLOT CLOSED
We’re hitting the famous Long Lunch with our Green Coast Lager alongside local Hastings Street favourites, including Aromas Noosa, Café Le Monde, Locale Noosa and Noosa Beach House Peter Kuruvita.
Sunday 19 May
Sum Yung Guys meets Stone & Wood SOLD OUT
We’re teaming up with the powerhouse team at Sum Yung Guys for a laidback two-hour Sunday session inside the Festival Village, with modern Asian food couples with Green Coast Lager. Plus, our head brewer Caolan will be there co-hosting.
Slip off your shoes, get your toes in the sand and crack a bottle of Green Coast Lager for an afternoon barbeque to remember, toasting to the 2019 Festival on Noosa Main Beach on sundown.
We’ll be joining festival-goers keen to kick the party on at El Capitano Pizzeria and Bar on Hastings Street, alongside Tim Fuchs, Julian Wood, Nathan Ramsay and other special guests.
