Green Feet
Treading lightly on our earth
We’re the only planet with beer…
At Stone & Wood, we are committed to taking care of the earth that sustains us (after all, this is the only planet with beer). Our Green Feet program is our approach to sustainability, which encompasses all inputs and outputs to the brewery, as well as thinking about our place in the community as a whole
It’s about minimising our footprint on the Earth through striving to not only reduce, reuse and recycle but also exploring innovative practices by reimagining the ecology of brewing.

Our Green Feet Program
We acknowledge the reliance we have on our Earth to enable us to produce good beer so it is our responsibility to tread a path towards sustainability through our Green Feet program. Green Feet is a company wide program we’ve been working on for a couple of years now. It’s about minimising our footprint on the Earth through striving to not only reduce, reuse and recycle but also exploring innovative practices by reimagining the ecology of brewing.
What we’re doing…
At our breweries we focus on water, energy, and waste reduction. In the last couple of years, we’ve reduced our water and energy consumption rates whilst continuing to grow in scale, through water re-use, more efficient energy systems, and innovative waste management programs.
We are continually benchmarking against and working with other brewers to ensure that we not only stay at the forefront of efficiency, but that we’re helping to improve the brewing industry as a collective.
Outside of our breweries, we strive to continually improve our environmental impact through our collective actions with our communities. Through innovative reusable cup programs at our events, to working with our suppliers to reduce our material footprint, we’ve made significant inroads to not only reduce our footprint, but to improve the practices of those around us.
As part of our EPA licence conditions, our Pollution Incident Response Management Plan can be found here.
