Northern Rivers Lager

Northern Rivers Lager
16 x 375ml Cans

Introducing you to the Northern Rivers Lager. Taking inspiration from the region surrounding us and the people within. At 4.0% ABV this beer is the perfect drop to wet the whistle. A bright, crisp beer that’s easy to drink and have yarn over. And the best part of this local brew, other than its taste, is that it’s made with Certified Sustainable Ryefield hops, Certified Sustainable malt from Voyager Craft Malt in Whitton and malt from Boortmalt, supporting barley growers in the GrainCorp Next program - all together making things easier on the soil and water they’re produced from. Farming this way deserves recognition, so we’re chipping in with others along the chain to support our growers. Northern Rivers Lager has a subtle malt flavour and low bitterness and to put it bluntly: it’s a beer that is simply good to drink, with no fuss.

The Perfect Pacific Ale Pour

THE FINER DETAILS

HOPS

Made with 100% Certified Sustainable hops from Ryefield Hops in Bemboka.

MALT

Made with Certified Sustainable malt from Voyager Craft Malt in Whitton. We’ve also used malt from Boortmalt, supporting barley growers in the GrainCorp Next program. Together, at least 75% of our grain bill is sustainably sourced.

GROWERS

Every beer starts its journey on a farm. This one’s our first with GrainCorp Next - an initiative helping to support growers farm in ways that are better for the land. Aussie growers lead the world in adopting sustainable agriculture and we want to support them to go even further. So, we’ve teamed up with our supply chain partners, the ones who move the grain, malt it and sell the beer, to help fund on-farm initiatives. It’s early days, and we’ll let you know how it goes.

FOOD PAIRING

This easy-drinking brew pairs a treat with all your Aussie pub grub classics – think schnittys, Parmis, bangers and mash, even a good old packet of salt & vinegar chips! But let’s be honest, we made this beer to pair with your everyday occasions - after a fish, when you've just wrapped up a day taming the unruly lawn, out watching the local sporting team, having a perfect bowl down the green, or watching the local band play down at the pub. Northern Rivers Lager’s here for all of it!
